Dea Studio Booking Policy

Reservation Process:

1.1. Reservations can be made through our website, phone, or in-person. All reservations are subject to availability.

1.2. A valid credit/debit card is required to secure a reservation.

Booking Confirmation:

2.1. Upon successful booking, you will receive a confirmation email with details of your reservation.

2.2. Payment for the booking is required at the time of reservation to confirm the booking.

Cancellation and Rescheduling:

3.1. Cancellations made 48 hours prior to the reserved time will receive a full refund.

3.2. Rescheduling requests must be made 48 hours before the reserved time and are subject to availability.

3.3. Cancellations or rescheduling made outside of the specified timeframes will result in a forfeiture of the booking fee.

No-Shows:

4.1. Failure to show up for a reserved time without 48hr prior cancellation will result in the forfeiture of the booking fee.

4.2. No-shows may also impact future reservation eligibility.

Arrival and Departure:

5.1. Please arrive 10 min before your reservation. Any time spent setting up or packing up should be within your reserved time slot.

5.2. Overtime will be charged at $90 per hour for a full hour only and it is subject to availability.

Studio Usage and Damage:

6.1. The studio space, equipment, and props must be treated with care and respect. Any damage caused by the renter or their guests will be the sole responsibility of the renter.

6.2. Upon arrival, renters are encouraged to inspect the studio and its contents for any pre-existing damage. Please notify studio management of any damage or concerns immediately to avoid misunderstandings.

6.3. In the event of damage to the studio, equipment, or props, the renter will be liable for repair, replacement, or restoration costs as determined by studio management.

6.4. Damage fees will be assessed based on the extent of the damage and the associated repair or replacement costs. Renters will be provided with an itemized breakdown of charges.

6.5. Studio management reserves the right to charge the renter’s credit/debit card on file, to cover any incurred damage costs. 

6.6. Proper care should be taken to prevent damage to the studio’s flooring, walls, furniture, backdrops, lighting equipment, and any other studio property.

6.7. Renter-initiated modifications or alterations to the studio space, equipment, or props are strictly prohibited without prior written consent from studio management.

Equipment Handling and Usage:

7.1. Studio equipment must be used according to their intended purpose and manufacturer’s guidelines.

7.2. Renters are responsible for familiarizing themselves with the proper operation of equipment. If assistance is required, studio staff will be available to provide guidance.

7.3. Any damage resulting from misuse, mishandling, or improper use of equipment will be the renter’s financial responsibility.

7.4. If equipment malfunctions during a rental period due to a pre-existing issue, please inform studio management immediately to arrange for repair or replacement.

Props and Personal Items:

8.1. The use of props and personal items brought into the studio is permitted, but renters are responsible for ensuring that these items do not cause damage to the studio or its property.

8.2. Studio management reserves the right to request approval for the use of certain props or equipment brought in by renters.

8.3. Any damage caused by props or personal items brought into the studio will be the renter’s responsibility.

Studio Cleanliness:

9.1. Renters are expected to maintain a clean and organized studio environment throughout their rental period.

9.2. Any mess or clutter created during the rental should be cleaned up and the studio space should be returned to its original condition before departing.

Incident Reporting:

10.1. If any damage occurs during the rental period, renters must immediately inform studio management and provide details of the incident.

10.2. Studio management will inspect the studio and its contents after each rental to assess for any damage or issues.

Additional Guests and Activities:

11.1. The number of guests allowed in the studio shall not exceed the maximum capacity specified.

11.2. Any special activities or setups must be communicated to studio management in advance.

Photography Rights:

12.1. The studio may request to use photos taken during the rental for promotional purposes. Renter approval will be sought if necessary.

Payment and Fees:

13.1. Rental fees are non-refundable within 24 hours of the reservation.

13.2. Additional fees may apply for extended rental time, equipment usage, and other services.

Changes to Booking Policy:

14.1. The studio reserves the right to modify the booking policy at any time. Updated policies will be communicated to renters.

Acknowledgment of Liability:

15.1. By accepting the terms of this booking policy, renters acknowledge their liability for any damage, loss, or destruction caused to the studio space, equipment, props, or other property.

15.2. The studio is not responsible for any personal items brought into the studio by renters or their guests.
